My Grandmom called and said she had no clue what was going on with my life anymore since I stopped blogging.  I kind of miss having my days more documented, so hopefully I can get back into it a bit.  I still have lots to catch up on from Christmas to now but that will have to be another day.

On Monday, Ethan and I had a much needed day date.  It had been a while since we had a date. 

 Last week was hormonal and a little crazy for me.  So to start this week off with a date was just what I needed.  We saw Silver Linings Playbook again.  That movie makes me laugh, makes me cry, 

makes me homesick.  I love it.  

When we go to the movies, I like to go in the photo booth in the lobby.

Then I put the pics in my journal with the ticket stubs.  

On Wednesday night we had to go to SLC for Paul's Dad's viewing.  

I decided we would hit up Trader Joe's and Whole Foods while we were there.  

I was telling Ethan you know you are an adult when a trip to the "fancy" grocery store makes you happy.  We picked up some cheese, artichokes and some other odds and ends.  

The kids both like to eat artichokes with Ethan.  Last night Kade asked for an artichoke for dinner.  

He cooked it and Add helped him make the sauce.  He was pretty excited about it. 

I am trying to be better about having the kids DO things.

Help me make dinner, clean up and help around the house.

I had the day off yesterday.  We have been having a terrible time getting the kids out the door to catch the bus.  I think we drove them everyday this week.  After we dropped them off, I cleaned up the kitchen.  I like this little spot.  Favorite cookbooks, homework folders, bread, produce, tea pot, etc.

I had two dr's appointments and then took lunch to Ethan at work.  

He is lucky to really love the people he works with.  

After school we had to finish homework.  It seems like Add has tons more homework than Kade.  We are always struggling on Thursdays to get it all done.  She always has her tongue out when she's thinking:

It's finally Friday.  I need to get moving or I will be late for work.

I'm looking forward to pizza and a movie tonight.
