sunday

Ethan made caramel rolls for Sunday morning.
They were the best batch we've made in a long time.

After breakfast I made cookies for our Primary teachers.
Two other ladies brought over cookies and I packaged them all up.
I know it's hard to be a teacher with those kids some days and thought they could use something sweet today after our Primary program in Sacrament meeting.
Kade finished his birthday thank yous finally and Add was coloring.

Add has been asking me to teach her how to sew.
Sure, Sunday morning before the Primary program is a perfect time.
She had picked out a few fat quarters the other day and wanted to make bedding for her doll house.
I am not the best person to teach her (my skills are limited) but we did it.

I loved having her sit on my lap and work together.
Her little foot was wrapped around my leg and I just felt like I was doing something right.
I am always praying that I know how to parent Addi.
Of course, the sewing went well followed by a meltdown about what to wear to church and me needing to blow dry my hair.

The Primary program went well.
After church, Mom came down and brought a Halloween countdown she had made for the kids.
They loved it.  Thanks Mom, you made Add's day.
We had Mary Sides' chicken for dinner and it was delicious.
Now that I'm typing this out I am realizing Ethan did all the cooking.  Thanks Babe!

For dessert we went over to the Larsen's for donuts.
They were so good!  I think I had four of them.
I love hanging out in the kitchen with everyone.

Our life is good.
