layne and pam come to town

Layne and Pam stopped for a visit during Layne's two week leave from his tour in Afghanistan.

It was so fun to meet Pam and their baby Morgan and see Layne and Blake again.

On Friday night, Layne took the boys to the BYU football game.

Kade provided Blake with a BYU basketball jersey to wear, which I thought was pretty hilarious.  

The cougars won 47-0 against Hawaii.

When they got home, Kade said...Our seats were so awesome, 

we could see everything since we were so high up!

While they were at the game I hung out with Pam and Morgan.

We went to the fabric store and met Ethan at Bombay house for dinner.

I made lots of cookies for Layne (oatmeal butterscotch and peanut butter chocolate chip)

Saturday morning we went to Magelby's Fresh for french toast and then set out for an adventure.

We went to the Provo Farmer's Market and also stopped by Harmony (which I love!)

Then we headed up Sundance to check out the leaves and hike to Stewart Falls.

It's about 3.5 miles total and a pretty easy hike. 

The colors were amazing and I was loving it.

The kids did great and Add only complained a little bit :)

After our hike we met Aaron and Nan at Cubby's for an early dinner.

We are total suckers for Cubby's and I will eat the buffalo fries whenever I can.

After that they all took off for Cedar City.

It was a quick visit (27 hours?) but we had so much fun.

Ethan loved hearing Layne's army stories, Kade loved jumping on the tramp and shooting darts with Blake, Add loved on Morgan lots, and I loved getting to Pam better.
